History

The Esplanade Spa & Golf Resort Hotel, built in 1911 by the outstanding architect, Arnold Heymann, has always been the most luxurious hotel in Marianske Lazne. This Titanic among hotels fortunately has never been wrecked and lived through a number of successful seasons serving princes, bankers, Indian princesses and maharajas. Following an extensive reconstruction that however has maintained its art nouveau character and charms; the hotel continues to offer the most luxurious accommodation and a host of other spa services unmatched even in the highly developed Czech spa industry. The hotel is situated in a spectacular park offering an unforgettable views of the town, only 5-minutes’ walk from the famous Marienbad Colonnade.
